Stumpy Fire Beaters on top in Plymouth/Bethesda All Fours

Stumpy Fire Beaters, first round winners in the Assemblyman Godwin Adams-sponsored Plymouth/Bethesda All fours competition were idle as the first round of games in the second round commenced last Friday.

Fire Beaters are eyeing the winners' prize of $3000 with five wins and one lost from six outings but they cannot afford any slip-ups as second placed Wacka Problems and third placed Zion challengers are not giving them much breathing space with similar four wins /one loss record.

Second round action got off to a negative start as two games were defaulted by Wacka Problems and Delta Force as Knight Riders and First Stop were the respective recipients of easy victories.

In the only game played First Stop stopped Backhoe Screws 41-31.
