Quow for World Indoor in Istanbul

Renny Quow is the only Tobago athlete on the seven-member National Track and Field team selected for duty for the World Indoor Track and Field Championship in Istanbul, Turkey from March 9-11.
However, while he has been entered for the 400m, Quow may not run the event because the selection committee will haveto decide on two of the three athletes that have been registered for the event.
Lalonde Gordon is definitely a cert having run the fastest time, 47.43 seconds this season that earned him the number one spot on the IAAF 2012 performance list ranking.
He is also the country’s highest ranked World quarter-miler at number 19.
The other berth will be between Quow whose fastest time this season is 46.70, clocked in his lone outing for the season and who is ranked 32nd and Jarrin Solomon who is ranked 19th with a best time of 46.55.
However, Quow will definitely be in the 4x400m relay line-up with 18-year-old Jereem Richards completing the cast.
