George joins Under 23 National team in FloridaKevon George who recently was drafted and signed with MLS Club, Columbus Crew in the United States has joined the Under 23 contingent in camp in the United States. George is now the fourth Tobagonian in the contingent of 25 from which seven will be dropped when the final team is selected for the CONCACAF Final Round Qualifier from wheretwo teams will advance to the 2012 Olympics in London later in the year. The other Tobago players are Daniel Cyrus, Jeremie Williams and Trevin Caesar. The national team gave an impressive showing in their two-all draw against their Jamaican counterparts before commencing the final camp in Florida, USA. They had played three matches up to press time in Florida, bombing-out Honduras 5-Stars 4-1 and losing to Fort Lauderdale Strikers 2-1 and Canada Under 23s 1-0. |
