Fishermen in 37 boats catch 3,209 lbs of fish

The prizegiving function is schedule for Goodwood High School auditorium on July 15 from 6 p.m.

Thirty-seven boats were involved in the competition that had weigh-in stations at Parlatuvier, Belle Garden, Mt. Irvine and Crown Point.

A total of 3209 lbs of fish were caught with a boat at the Mt. Irvine depot with one of the youngest fishermen in charge having the biggest catch of 332 lbs of fish.
