Baynes wins in Senior Flight in ANSA/Tatil golf

Carlos "Sexy" Baynes won the Senior Flight in the rain affected ANSA Merchant Bank/Tatil Open Golf Championships that culminated at the St Andrews Golf Course, Maraval on Sunday.

Baynes who is Tobago's most renowned golfer and has been a member of the National Championship Flight team for over 15 years led from start to finish among the seniors.

He shot 77 on day one and 39 on day two for a total of 116.

Tobago's only other success from the small contingent that competed in the tournament was 11 year old, Sol Johani who finished third in the junior Class.

The other Tobago competitors were Ken Sardinah, First Flight, Cyrus Kent, Seniors and Kerisha Irvine, Ladies, none of whom finished in the top five of their respective Flights.
