Tobago landmark goes up in smokeAn old, but very important piece of Tobago's heritage went up in smoke as units from the Roxborough Fire Station responded to a call sometime after 1 p.m. on Tuesday that the historic buildings on the 'Kingsbay Estate' were on fire. The age of the wooden structures were quickly engulfed in flames. Two fire units got there about 2 pm and tried to put out the blaze but most of the buildings were already completely burnt. Officials are still investigating. |

Watcher! I agree with you. I heard lots of stories about that landmark that went up in flame.Not very good at all.

yes it is a shame that this nice old structure came down in flames. At first the foundation was in tact but later all the brick posts collapsed. i hope it is not another victim for development sake. Maybe someone does not like what it has been used for...
