NP supports 4 steelbands

The National Petroleum Company (NP) donated more than 300 T-shirts and Banners to four steelbands in time for their Panorama preliminaries.

Brendon Gray, a director of NP, indicated that the company had received requests for assistance and the Board of Directors willingly accepted and is committed to supporting the pan movement.

Representatives of the bands present to receive the items were Aaron Trim – PRO - Crowncordaans Steel Orchestra of Crown Point/Canaan/Bon Accord, Weston Anderson – manager, West Side Steel Orchestra of Patience Hill, Brian Thomas, captain - Tobago Panthers of Golden Lane and Assemblyman Steve Jack – captain/musical arranger, Metro Stars of Pembroke.

The representatives thanked National Petroleum for their tangible support and director Gray indicated that the company was willing to support steelbands in the future.
